Artist's Background: Graphics Arts & Photography
As previously mentioned, Cate spent most of her multi-faceted career working in advertising design, as an art director, photographer, retoucher and writer. Here are a few samples from her extensive portfolio.
- Rig-Rite logo designed in 1975 is still in use today.
- Bring Back The Bay logo was part of a major public-educational campaign that was recognized by the EPA for its efforts.
- Sandy's Fine Foods logo is currently used for signage and company identification.
- Monahan logo was designed to highlight the beauty of their historic building.
Cate designed & wrote this 50-pg. tourism brochure.
The type design for Warwick can be seen on the City's water tower in Apponaug.
